The Frankfort Elementary School is located on the North Searsport Road in Frankfort, Maine. The building houses K-5 students from Frankfort. Our support services include a Resource Room teacher; two educational techs; a Title I teacher and and an educational tech and a part-time speech person. We have a half-time principal, full time administrative assistant, one kitchen cook and one custodian.
We share the following with other schools in our RSU:
Music Teacher, Art Teacher, Physical Education Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Librarian and a Library Educational Tech.
FES has an After School Program which meets Mondays through Thursdays for two hours. This program provides tutoring and homework support for our students. This program also provides cultural experiences and special programs.
We are very fortunate to have a supportive Parent/Teacher Group which meets once a month. This group provides additional classroom supplies for special activities, field trips, gift certificates for our students to spend at the book fair and enrichment programs.
